Designing beautiful spaces that make it natural to connect with others brings me a lot of joy. I believe that our interactions with other people and with nature are among the most meaningful things in life. I strive to make the world a better place one personal interaction and one design at a time.
I delight in spending time with my wife and boys, building and fixing, reading, mountain biking and gathering with friends and family.
I'm licensed as a professional landscape architect in Utah, Idaho, Texas, Colorado, Minnesota and Oklahoma. Live Design was created in 2018.

Growing up I always enjoyed the beauty of mountains, and as I’ve gotten older I’ve truly grown to appreciate nature and the connection I feel to it. I love how life calms down when I spend time outside. I enjoy drawing, reading, and camping with my family. I want to help create spaces and homes where people feel joy and connections while outdoors.

The process of design is a magnificent struggle. Hundreds of puzzling pieces to fit into a smooth, coherent, lovely design. The phases and processes of design are messy and thoughtful. I love the end result, knowing that from all that thinking, sketching and trying this lovely thing: the final design comes forth. I love making the world a more beautiful place.

I’ve always had a strong appreciation for design, creativity, and the outdoors. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, drawing, and hanging out with friends and family. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Landscape Architecture at Utah State University which has been the perfect way to bring all these interests together. I am passionate about designing functional spaces that connect people with nature and improve everyday life.

With a background in psychology and organizational leadership, I bring a people-centered, systems-minded approach to my role as Business Manager, creating the structure and support that allow our team to do their best work—so great ideas can move from possibility to reality.
